My Story
Demetra Dimokopoulos, Founder of The Knockout Room®
I’m the founder and CEO of The Knockout Room®, an award‑winning wellness brand built to help working moms and their tween daughters rise together. I’m driven by a fierce commitment to dismantling barriers, redefining beauty standards, and crafting an immersive world at the intersection of wellness, storytelling, and social change, where women and girls thrive. What began as a bold idea has grown into the TKR™ Universe — a world where programs, rituals, and community ignite generational transformation.
My journey into wellness began in 2013, during one of the most difficult periods of my life. As the primary caregiver for a terminally ill family member, I gave everything I had until my own health collapsed. That experience forced me to confront a truth I had avoided: taking care of myself wasn’t selfish — it was the boundary I needed to reclaim my life.
Fueled by that awakening, I immersed myself in fitness, nutrition, and emotional resilience. While completing my Master of Business Administration in Copenhagen, I founded The Knockout Room®. I then became my own first client — losing 30 pounds and rebuilding my strength from the inside out. Later, I became certified as a fitness trainer and Health Coach Alliance™ Registered Health Coach™.
Today, I use movement, nutrition, emotional coaching, and gamified habit‑building to help families break cycles of burnout and self‑neglect. The Knockout Room® is more than a wellness brand — it’s a generational mission.
